What is a good permanent hair coloring product for men that I can do by myself?

There is some hair color called Just for Men. Of course any regular box hair color is easy to do--just go slow while doing it and be careful not to drip on any carpet. :-) There are instruction enclosed on how to do it too. What is a good permanent hair coloring product for men that I can do by myself?

Ok my hair is light brown and i want to color it darker brown but dont know wich product to use i first want a product that can wash out so i can see how i look.....anything tou could recomend that washes out and doesnt break hair?Hair color product?
';Richesse'; by Loreal Its a demi color line (washes out in 8 weeks). I love this line its ammonia free so it wont damage the hair and it gives lots of shine. I like the color ';chocolate'; for a dark brown. The top salons use this line.Hair color product?
i 4got the name but when u go to the pharmacy theres a whole section of hair coloring. choose in there.
You need a semi-permanent - don't go permanently dark - the regrowth of lighter hair when you have gone darker looks awful -worse than black roots when you're blonde!

I use the Botanics range from Boots - they use natural products and they are really kind to your hair - the one I use is Bitter Chocolate.
Try Hidrence. It comes with Pantene conditioner. I have very dry hair and this works very well for me.
You want to look for a semi-permanent or demi-permanent color before you do the permanent color, a drastic change you have to live with. They are completely safe and wash out at the max- 24 shampoo's for the demi-permanent and 8 shampoos for the semi-permanent.

Some good brands are the following:

SoftSheen-Carson's Dark and Lovely Reviving Colors

Clairol's Beautiful (semi) or Clairol's Natural Instincts (demi)

Jazzing

A semi is gentle any washes out at the max of 8 shampoos and add a richness or depth to your natural color. A demi is stronger and doesn't lift dark to light but it will deposit a darker color onto hair, for example a brown onto a red will become brown. You can only go from dark to light with a permanent color or bleaching. Good Luck!
Try Natural Instincts. It is my favorite.
Natural Instincts is good if your looking for a longer temoprary color but i would stay away from the mouse hair coloring thing (sorry i forgot the name) because when i used it not only did it dye my hair but my scalp to and it felt like my head was burning even after i washed it out.

  • Question about hair coloring products? ?

i have really thick dark hair, close black but a little lighter in some places from trying to dye it. my mom won't let me get it done professionally cause she thinks i'm ruining my hair color. but my face is really pale in the winter and i hate the contrast. i have brown eyes and i was wondering what kind of brand for a store bought dye i can get to lighten my hair. preferably like a little darker than chocolate brown? idk i just need some ideas to do something different with my hair. Question about hair coloring products? ?
my hair is dark too i would try an beauty store and get some bleach to strip the color then dye your color of choice

Where can you buy a hair coloring product?

i want to dye the tips of my hair purple just for fun, not perminently and i've looked everywhere for a hair dying/coloring product. if you can help that would be amazinggg!!!!Where can you buy a hair coloring product?
    Hey there.

Yep, ive been dying for those too man lmao =P

    Well, here in Canada + US, we use something called '; Manic Panic';

They come in gels, and actual dye.

The gels are like every other gel - except it obv. has colour in them, and you could wash it off in the shower =D no damage to your hair.

    Comes in fantastic colours.

For the dye, you gotta bleach your hair. Which is making the spots of ur hair, [the parts u wanna dye] like REALLY LIGHT BLONDE so the colour would be more intense.

    go to google,

    and type in

MANIC PANIC - then click IMAGES =]Where can you buy a hair coloring product?

Does anyone know of a hair coloring product that offers grey as one of the colors?

Wierd desire!!! I've got ALOT of premature grey hair, and rather than trying to keep it covered up, I want to find a shade of grey to blend it. There used to be several nice ones on the market, but I can't find any.Does anyone know of a hair coloring product that offers grey as one of the colors?
Nice 'n Easy from Clairol has a selection of grey colors. Check out the local Wal Mart hair color section and see what you can find. There may be other brands as well.Does anyone know of a hair coloring product that offers grey as one of the colors?
Grey/silver is beautiful. Go for it. There was a clerk at a Von's store with it all grey/silver. I know she was too young, but it looked great! It's as good a color option as any.
i just have 1 question?? why would you want to die ur hair Grey??????

    Best Hair Coloring Products??

I have naturally dark brown hair and I'm wanting it all blonde, I've tried bleaches and hair color. The brown goes to red then blonde but for some reason there are places in my hair that are still red, so whats the best bleach that will just take the red completely out!!?!?!? I've dyed it so many times with different products, so can anyone help???Best Hair Coloring Products??
I've always liked Garnier Nutrisse, and it has a lot of good reviews. Check out Makeupalley for shade recommendations and the official site as well.Best Hair Coloring Products??
If you really want to do it yourself... NOT RECOMMENDED!!!

At least go to Sally's and get a good high lift colour or bleach and high volume developer. The more product you put on your hair, the easier it is to get it even.

But please, consider to get it done professionally!!!
