If you have someone at home and you just want a single colour put through your hair then it's easiest and cheapest to do it at home.

Depends. If you're looking to go lighter or darker by only two shades away from your current hair color, then it's okay to do it at home. Any lighter/darker, and you might want to get some help with it.
get it done at the salon. yes it is more money than doing it at home. but lots can go wrong if u do it at home and u would have to pay even more money to fix it
i'd let them do it or have someone show you how. you dont want to ruin your hair by mistake :)
