going from dark brown to blonde on your own is not laways the best idea. many people have red pigments in their hair, and we go from dark to light, those red pigments remina and stand out. therefore you may end up with orangey hair. I would suggest you do it in steps, you should never colur your hair more than 2 steps from your present hair colour. so try dying like a light brown first. also pick colours with ash in it, this will help to minimize red and brassiness. nice and easy or any loreal hair coluring product are good.What is a good hair coloring product to dye dark brown to blonde?
The best thing to do is go about this gradually - DO NOT USE A BLONDE BOX OF HAIR COLOR right away


(I've done this and ended up with orange ORANGE hair)


I recommend using Revlon Frost and Glow (It's about $10 a box) - This is a highlighting system, use all the hole in the cap (you will probably need someone to help you with the back).





I would do this once - wait a couple of weeks and do it again.

best thing is to go to a salon even though its expensive, or you could seriously damage your hair. color corrections we get in the salon i work at have fried broken hair or green hair from trying to go blonde from brown themselves

Revlon? That's what my Mom uses sometimes, and it turns out ok.
You have to use peroxide first.
