Does the ';white out'; hair color product really work?

Does the white-out product from hot topic actually turn your hair like snow white or is it more of just a bleach blond sort of color?

I use RAW white-out bleach kit from hot topic. It works well for me (my hair is platinum blonde), but the amount your hair lightens depends on varius factors.





1. Your current haircolor. My hair is naturally dark blonde, so its not that hard to get it to platinum. However, if you have dark brown or black hair, you may need to use a stronger bleach, or bleach it more than once because its hard to make dark hair so light. When dark hair is bleached it usually turns red or orange.





2. How long you leave the bleach in. I usually leave it in for 10-12 minutes to give my hair that bleach blonde look, however, if I left it in for about 10 minutes longer it would probably be pretty white. So it depends on that too.
Depends on how dark your hair is to begin with and how long you leave it in, but yes it does work.
